Hello, Vicki! I saw and listened to your voice mail too late on Friday to call you back. Yes, the work was done professionally, quietly with clean up done thoroughly. One of the painters came over from across the street, where they were finishing a bigger job and introduced himself. I'm sorry to say that I can't remember his name, though. Not only were we impressed with the job they did here, but we were impressed with their work ethic across the street. They showed up every day and worked hard until the heat would force them to quit for the day. They were quiet in that they didn't play music loud, etc., unlike roofers who have been in the neighborhood. Although I realize roofing on the whole is much noisier than painting. 😁In summary, we were very happy with our job and will recommend Matt the Painter to anyone. I tried to figure out how to post a review on your website but couldn't figure it out. Very unimpressed with my experience.I took time off work to meet Chad for an estimate because I was told during our initial scope-of-work conversation that someone needed to be present for the appointment. Nearly 20 minutes after the scheduled time had passed, I finally had to call the office myself to find out what was going on. Only then was I informed that Chad was running late and would be there in about 10 minutes (30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time). Common courtesy would have been to proactively notify the customer, especially considering this appointment took place in the middle of a workday and required me to leave work early.When the estimator eventually arrived, there was no apology or accountability. Instead, I was met with excuses and attempts to shift blame.To make matters worse, during the estimate I was told my project was “too small” for them to typically take on, but that he would “try to convince the team” to accept it. This made no sense considering I had already provided photos, descriptions, and details about the project during our original phone conversation. If the job was never something they were interested in, why waste my time and have me take off work for the appointment?On top of that, the estimator was pushy about trying to upsell additional work that I had already made clear I was not interested in and that was never part of the original discussion.Overall, the experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and disrespectful of my time.

WOW! I could not be more pleased with this whole experience. From the initial assessment, to color consultation, to execution of the project, every step was conducted in a professional yet personable way. I especially appreciated the fact that the end of each day, Adam and Alonzo would pick up all the drop cloths and their tools so I didn't feel like I was in the midst of upheaval in the evening. Prompt, efficient, highly skilled, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and pleasant would be some of my top terms for this company. 11/10!

While Matt the Painter was not able to help us with our fence staining job, both he and his representative was extremely helpful in working to connect me with alternative resources locally in Billings to get the job done. The guys that were assigned to our project did a tremendous job. They were very professional and very respectful. Everything was cleaned and put back in place before they left. Matt is great to work with as is his whole team.

Highly recommend Matt the Painter. This review is long overdue! I will always use Matt the Painter for all my painting needs. In April of 2022 I desperately needed the exterior of my house painted. My son recommended Matt the Painter. When I called they genuinely understood my situation and set up an appointment for an estimate the next day. Sherlynn was on time. Kind, professional and very knowledgeable. (The 1st and last picture below are before, middle ones are after.) Sherlynn reluctantly advised me that they could not help me as there was to much hail and sun damage. The hail storm was in May of 2020. If they painted is would only deteriorate in a couple years. She advised me to contact my insurance company and file a claim ASAP as the deadline to file was a month later. I filed the claim. Everything was okay. Many companies would have left it at "we can't help you" and left. Not Sherlynn! Had it not been for Matt the Painter and the knowledgeable Sherlynn I would've been totally out of luck. I'm retired and on a fixed income and everything is okay. Thank you Matt the Painter and Sherlynn. I'll be calling when I need any paint job that I can't handle.

Excellent work

We had Matt the Painter paint the entire interior of our house a few months ago. It looks wonderful. We also needed them to clearcoat the underside of the back patio roof, which they couldn't do until the weather warmed up. They gave us a quote, they called us when the weather was warmer, and they came out right on time. Jason, the project foreman, wasn't 100% satisfied with the clearcoat so they came out and did it again and all I can say is "Wow!". It looks amazing. They are good people to work with and do high quality work.
